I’m Tamryn Sherriffs.
I am an associate of Business Presentation Group, where I spend most of my time running Structured Thinking workshops that help participants put together persuasive talks, presentations, text and conversations.
In this work I am strongly influenced by the work of Nancy Duarte and Amy Cuddy.
I also am a business partner of Clarity4D, a methodology and profile I use to run communication style training workshops, using colours to help people understand the four basic communication styles.
I draw on the research of Susan Cain and Carl Jung in my workshops around personality styles and adapting for best results. I’ve recently launched an educational podcast series, called colourtalk. for anyone who uses Jungian-based colour models in their work.
I am currently training as a Thinking Environment facilitator and am a certified Participlan methodology facilitator and I incorporate both of these crucial techniques in the unique sessions I design and run.
I facilitate with John Sanei, designing Culture programmes in organisations where I draw largely from the work of Simon Sinek and Brene Brown. From time to time, I work with Treeshake and ACT Cape Town as an expert guest on topics like presentation trends and company culture.
For fun and meaning, I am part of the organising team of TEDxCapeTown, where I ensure the smooth selection and training of our most fascinating speakers. I walk in the mountains, live in a little house on the water on the Cape Peninsula and my most recent adventure is as a volunteer medic at Hout Bay EMS.
